The Major League Killers was assembled on July 4th, 2000 by our Mother Lady Pac.
Just prior to the formation of =MLK=, Lady Pac gathered Brothers Cassius, Gunny, and Hellbent who at the time composed the Leadership of the =Major League Killers=
The Major League Killers during our inception was a very well regarded Clan in the community devoted to the Ultra-Renegades MOD of Tribes 1. Our Tribes era was supported by the cast of Lady Pac, Cassius, Madteo, Private Parts, Truck, Excalibur, Jettman, GI Jane, Fierce, and Stallzer among others. We were heavily involved in the T1 community, and we were a force to be reckoned with. We attended LAN Parties specific to the T1 community and showed in person, the love we exhibited in cyber-space. During this era Brothers Gunny, and Hellbent were lost to us, and was replaced by Brothers Madteo, and Jettman who stepped up, and helped carry the family into our next era. Brothers Cassius, and Madteo earned their Founders title for their role during this era.
As in all things, the T1 era came to an end, but not for the =Major League Killers=. While gaming wise we were awaiting new direction, our bond was ever lasting. We began forming NAN Parties (No Access Network) whereas we pick a spot, meet, and party hard! These gatherings were laughfest’s, and solidified our bond outside our online gaming realm. We were now a true family, equipped with family reunions and all!
After T1 we tried a few upcoming games, but it was not until the arrival of Return to Castle Wolfenstien that we found a true, new direction. A new squad was formed for this front which was spearheaded by Brothers Foo and HoggBoss. Brothers Foo and Parts was promoted to Leader and brought back to life a competitive spark of what once was. A new front was born. From RTCW we became active in Enemy Territory and competed in that front. Again Brother Foo was the primary catalyst for this formation. We had a nice run in the ET community and was labeled the “ones to watch”. Brother Foo earned his “Founder” title for his role during this era. Brother Parts earned his Founder title for his steadfast and passionate support of our Family since almost the beginning of our crusade.
Other gaming interests begged for our attention, and our competitive edge waned a bit replaced by a diversity of gaming interests. Although we were not competing on any active fronts we sure as all hell was logged onto Ventrilo playing a wide range of games. Living, loving and laughing!
We had a run in Counter-Strike: Source which was spearheaded by (Leader) Brother Insy, and although fun, was short lived. Currently Brother Insy is on leave.
Currently we bolster over 45 active members, play on 2 focused fronts, and are still looking toward our future. In additional to PC Gaming our lust of gaming has spilled onto the Xbox 360!
We are a fortunate lot.
And we ain’t done yet!
